Yangon, Myanmar, 2 May 2026 - AIA Myanmar, a leading life and health insurance provider, has proudly introduced the Score With Spurs (AIA Coaching Clinic 2026) programme, under which international coaches from English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur delivered hands‑on football training to Myanmar’s next generation of young players.
Returning after a five‑year hiatus, the Score With Spurs programme was held exclusively for AIA Myanmar’s RUBY Club Members. It aims to provide children aged 8 to 15 with early exposure to world‑class football training, supporting their development while inspiring them to live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
As part of the long‑standing partnership between AIA and Tottenham Hotspur, now spanning more than 13 years, football training sessions have been delivered to children across AIA markets in the Asia‑Pacific region. In Myanmar, about 300 children received professional football coaching directly from Tottenham Hotspur coaches at StarCity Sports Club in Yangon on 2 and 3 May.
“Football is one of Myanmar’s most beloved sports, enjoyed by people of all ages across the country. Beyond being a sport, it plays an important role in helping young people stay healthy, strong, and mentally resilient. Through the Score With Spurs programme, we believe these young participants will gain meaningful experiences not only on the football field but, throughout their lives,” said Ma Shumawa Khin, Marketing Director of AIA Myanmar.
As an added highlight of the programme, outstanding participants who meet Spurs’ coaching standards were selected by AIA Myanmar to attend and train at a six‑day AIA–Spurs Football Camp in Koh Samui, Thailand.
Children of AIA Myanmar RUBY Club Members and the AIA Myanmar family received football training under this programme.
